I could have just bought some 36 inch door and cut the top off of it and then just frame the sides to fill the gaps but that would be ghetto.
I decided to build my own door that has some insulation in it to help with sound dampening.

Tools required (Any male that considers himself manly will have this stuff lying around his garage):
Router, trim bit, hinge and latch templates
Door knob guide
Drill
Sander
Brad Nail Gun
Finish Nail Gun
Phillips Screw Driver
Caulk Gun

I built the frame using Select Pine. This is the expensive pine boards that are as straight as you can really buy... i had to dig through about 30 boards to find 3 straight ones.
The side panels are made out of Luan. Its a type of cheap plywood.
I used foam insulation for the inside of the door.

Therefore, I've just replaced the old battery with a Optima YellowTop and added a Deltran Battery Tender. Hopefully the deep cycle nature of the YT will keep it from dying quickly when it's drained constantly.
